Wings
So, yeah, I was gone for a long time. Did you miss me? Sorry about that.
I was busy getting into trouble. Did you ever do something and, even as you begin, you think that nothing good can come of it? Kind of sort of a little like this.
Anyways, I am fine. I haven’t yet gotten to read my email (or do anything else) so forgive me for not answering you. I know that my prolonged absence demands some kind of an explanation. Here is the very best I can muster.
That should answer all your questions. Now you know why stoogepie has no wings.
And, yeah, I got rid of a column so I could make the comics bigger.
Barring any calamities, I will have a lot more to say before the end of this month. But that’s all I have to say about wings.

Good to know you’re okay and still amongst the living. And in regard to the question you asked at the beginning: yes, I felt that way when I started my new job. It’s a job and it pays, so no complaints.
Good work as always… It occurred to me to wonder why someone with wings would need or want to subject themselves to the inconveniences and aggravations of flying with a commercial carrier. I’m glad it didn’t occur to you to have the surgeon implant a rocket up your ass for improving your airspeed.
Sorry the wings didn’t work out… but hot damn am I glad that you are still on the green side of the grass. (Yes, I worried, even though I KNOW you sometimes disappear for a while).
And in answer to “Did you miss me?” I, for one, have to say “HELL YEAH, I missed you, Dude!”
